摘要

Woven carbon/epoxy laminates were subjected to low-velocity impact loading at energy levelsrnof 15, 30 and 45J. Samples were subjected to different temperature and moisture conditioningrnbefore subjecting to impact loading that included cold-dry, cold-moist, heat-dry, thermal cyclingrnand hygrothermal. Impact parameters like peak load, absorbed energy, time to peak load andrnenergy at peak load were evaluated and compared. Ensuing damage was measured on the impactrnas well as the back surface. In general, samples subjected to conditioning exhibited better impactrnbehavior in terms of the impact parameters and lower damage sizes as compared to that of roomrntemperature samples.
