摘要

Up to now, production of phenolic resin unavoidably forms waste water containing free phenolrnand aldehyde, which polluted the environment. Waste-water-free phenolic resin was successfullyrnsynthesized from solid paraformaldehyde and phenol, and was modified further with bisphenol Arnpolysulfone. Thus a new kind of environment friendly glass fiber reinforced phenolic moldingrnplastics was developed, which possessed good properties: tensile strength 560MPa, flexuralrnstrength 821MPa, dielectric strength 18Mv/m, and Matens temperature 310 ℃. Fourier transformrninfrared spectrometer (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Differential thermalrnanalysis(DTA) were used to characterize the morphology and microstructure of modifiedrnphenolic resin and its composites. The oil resistance test showed that modified phenolic moldingrnplastics stood up well when immersed in oil for a long time and retained above 95% ofrnmechanical and electrical properties compared with the specimen which was not immersed in oil.rnA thermally conductive and electrically insulation phenolic composites with thermal conductivity of 3.5w/mK was formed by addition 10% (by weight) nano SiC filler.
