摘要

This paper proposes a decision feedback channel estimationscheme for burst mode COFDM transmission. Theproposed scheme uses a burst format with the double-endedpilot symbols and updates the channel estimates by usingthe forward error correction (FEC) decoding results. Thefeature of the proposed scheme is that the bi-directionalchannel estimation is realized thanks to the application ofthis burst format, and the range for each direction is determinedto be proportional to the received power of the pilotsymbols. Computer simulation results showed the proposedscheme provides better BER performance than thetypical decision feedback channel estimation scheme andthe linear interpolation scheme.
