System engineering approach for safety management of complex systems

摘要

This paper presents a system approach for safety man-agement of complex system. System engineering which is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that focuses on how complex engineering projects should be designed and managed is the framework of the approach. It allows taking into account the safety requirements in system engineering process to facilitates traceability of these requirements throughout the life cycle of the system. Processes of EIA-632 system standard are used to guide the proposed approach.
