摘要

The tyre/road noise is main concern for vehicle at higher speed. The test data is collected under various test conditions such as front and rear tyre runs separately with different speed limits. Locations of microphones were specified as per Close proximity method along with interior location also. The two test vehicles were used for testing in the hemi-anechoic chamber. The Engine is in OFF-condition. The effects of various tyre parameters, vehicle construction and speed were studied and compared along with the test data. The mathematical relation of air cavity resonance, pattern noise, and modal behaviour of tyre were defined and correlated with noise phenomenon.
