Recycling of Outworn Types by Grinding At Normal Temperature

The massive amount of used automobilc tyres is a serious problem, causing environmental pollution. In addition the need for recycling this valuable material arises. However, no universal solution exists. This paper reviews the ethods of utilization, with special emphasis on the cutting methods of tyres. Three consecutive steps for jtype disintegration aedescribed, including three different machines designed for this purpose. The cutting mecanics is described theorectically based on our experiments. Recommendations for industrial tyre processing are presented.
