摘要

In this study, we conducted an experiment to examin infant climbing behaviors. From the behavior data collected, the causal relationships between object attributes, infant characteristics, and climbing behaviors were modeled using the Bayesian Network Model. We found that infant climbing behaviors correlated with the height and surface area of the top face of the objects and the height of the infants. We demonstrated that infant climbing behaviors could be predicted by the object attributes. This developed behavior model could be useful in predicting infant behaviors and also in preventing infant fall injuries by changing controllable attributes.
