Two Hospital Case Studies of Advanced Deployments of Information Technology: Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana USA and Kameda Hospital in Chiba, Japan

This paper will summarize two case studies that illustrate innovative use of information technology for patient records in Japan and the United States. A comparison of each hospital through the case studies is discussed as well as an investigation of the use of wireless networks. The paper will close with a suggestion of potential future usage of mobile devices at each site.
