During the production to basic Fibroblast Growth Factor(bFGF) with recombinatn Escherichia coli, the protein partly folds into the active form which is dissovled in the cytoplasma and prrtly accumulated in inclusion bodies. A simple, three parameters containing model of the kinetic competition between folding and aggregation of nascent protein has been applied to the process. Obtained parameter valuesvary strongly among different cultivaltions, but are located in an ellipsoid region, indicating low paramter estimation accuracy. As shown in detailed analysis by means of the Fisher information matrix, deviations are due to linear dependencies.
