The enforcement of a zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) standard in Quebec is expected to boost zero-emission vehicles and low-emission vehicles sales significantly and contribute to the province's ambitious goals in both greenhouse gas reductions targets and numbers of registered plug-in vehicles. By requiring an increasing number of credits from automakers every year, the ZEV standard will encourage manufacturers to augment and diversify their offer with vehicles that are attractive to the consumer.
