With the advent of the information age, the development of my country's design has gradually moved closer to international modernization, and the cultural characteristics of the nation have gradually disappeared. Therefore, in order to inherit Chinese traditional culture, the design and art education circle has successively launched the study and research on the national traditional culture. This article expounds the relationship between modeling, composition and design, and deeply explores the dialectical relationship between Chinese traditional modeling idea and western constitution theory. Furthermore, in view of the lack of formal training patterns and lack of cultural attributes in the basic courses of design form, the article puts forward the idea of infiltrating traditional tradition modelling idea into the course teaching, summarizes the implementation process of the deep integration of the form feeling of constitution theory and the imitating the mind of Chinese tradition modelling idea. It aims to explore the way of design basic teaching reform with Chinese characteristics.
