Hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (HOFs) composed of N-hetero-conjugatedmolecules are expected to show multi-functionality.Introduction of N atoms into π-conjugatedcores can fine-tune frontier orbital levels,which enables to control optoelectronic properties ofthe frameworks.Incorporated N atoms also can interact and/or coordinate with cations speciessuch as metal cations and proton to achieve external stimuli-responsive frameworks.Inconnection with this,we introduced N atoms into triphenylene and trinaphthylene cores andconstructed HOFs with multiple active sites.1,2
