Multicomponent nanomaterial comprising segregated self-assembled domains is one of the important functional nanoarchitectures because they can realize synergistic fusion of different molecular properties. For one-dimensional nanofibers which can be prepared by supramolecular polymerization of small molecules, however, design of such programmed nanoarchitectures remains challenging.
