Nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling of amides through the cleavage of carbon-nitrogen bond has been actively studied.1 Garg reported a pioneering work on the catalytic conversion of amides into esters.2 Decarbonylative coupling of amides accompanied by the release of carbon monoxide was also reported.3 Despite these advances, decarbonylation of amide that gives corresponding amines has not been reported, except for 2-picolinamide substrates.4
