摘要

Carbon–carbon bond forming reactions considered as one of most fundamentals in organic chemistry offer powerful ways of making various types of molecules. Addition of carbanion formed by interaction with base is one of the most common and useful transformations among them. On the other hand, a modern approach involving a light-activated reaction gives an opportunity for initiating a reaction between reagents that are unreactive under standard condition. Combination of both methodologies may open a new route in modern organic chemistry to design completely new carbon– carbon bond forming transformations.
