摘要

Nowadays, alternative energy produced from biomass, renewable resources or waste from massive industrial production has been extensively focused owing to the limitation of energy derived from fossil fuel. And to utilize the related crude oil, such as vacuum residue and atmospheric residue which are less demand in the commercial market, is needed to generate much more valuable products as lighter hydrocarbon or petroleum fuels. One of the most suitable technology is catalytic cracking which can convert liquid hydrocarbon into petroleum fuel such as gasoline or diesel fuel.
