Ni-Fe base superalloy GH984 due to their good workability and low cost has been evaluated as the candidate boiler materials for advanced ultra-supercritical (A-USC) coal-fired power plants with steam temperature of up to 700-750?C and pressure of up to 35-37.5MPa. However, the deformation mechanisms of GH984 superalloy during tensile process from room temperature (20°C) to 750°C are not clear so far.
