TO THE QUESTION OF INFLUENCE OF AMOEBIC ORGANISMS INFESTATION ON THE OCCURRENCE OF GILL DISEASE IN CARP (Cyprinus carpio L.)

There are two representatives of family Paramoebidae Entamoebidae which are parasites of fish in Russia. The first family includes majority of marine species, but there are also some freshwater species. The representatives of the second family are the parasites of different fish species and animals, including humans. Disease of carp (Cyprinus carpio) caused mass mortality was detected in one fish farm from south Russia. Pathological changes were registered in gills. Numerous amoebic organisms with eosinophilic granularity were the causative agents of the disease.
