The development stages, characteristics and future development trend of network communication in China

摘要

Advances in computer technology have brought about new developments society, and communication science has begun to study internet communication. Thus, the development of internet communication has entered a new phase of research. Based on the historical timeline, the author divided the internet communication of China into three stages - the germination period, the rapid growth period, and the outbreak period, which reflects the network communication has content-rich personality, diverse channels, faster dissemination, more interactive, subject status and other characteristics compared to the traditional era. Because of this, it is necessary to find out and define the development stages of network communication theory and its characteristics, and make a vision of new developments of network communication in the 5G era.
