It has been proposed to monitor the soil quality indicators through the active and reactive components of admittance. This is demonstrated by assessing such an important indicator as salinity. The analysis of the frequency dependence of the admittance components has confirmed their dependence on the soil salinity. There had been obtained the mathematic models for measuring the salinity of various types of soil depending on the signal frequency and value of the admittance components. This would improve the possibility of monitoring the soil parameters online.
