摘要

It is especially important to synthesize diarylethene derivatives and research their structural features. So far diarylethene derivatives synthesized have heteroaryl moieties such as thiophene, [3] benzothiophene, [4] benzofuran, [5] thiazole, [6] chrysothiophene, [7] and indole rings.[8] A photochromic diarylethene of l-(2-cyano-1,5-dimethyl-4-py-rryl)-2-[2-methyl-5-(3-formyl-4-methoxylphenyl)-3-thienyl]perfluorocyclopentene(1o) as synthesized and characterized. The photochromic reaction of lo induced the significant change of the absorption spectra and fluorescence intensity. Upon irradiation with UV light with the extended response time, the color of 1o in acetonitrile solution was changed obviously, accompanied by the fluorescence intensity decreased with the photochromic cyclization of the diarylethene units. The results showed the compound exhibited good photochromism in acetonitrile solution and fluorescence switches. The kinetic experiments showed that the cyclization and cycloreversion processes were zeroth and first order reaction, respectively.
