With the rapid development of construction of PV plants in Qinghai province, the need for constructing a data center for monitoring and analyzing generation data and environment data of PV plants has become more and more emergent for the sake of the safety and efficiency of PV power generation and dispatching. In this paper, a total solution on constructing a data center of PV Power System in Qinghai province based on Big Data Technologies was put forward by presenting the logical architecture, network topology, physical architecture, and determination of storage configuration. With the support of Big Data technology, the data center can be built as a safe, scalable, efficient, trusted platform for the data and business management of the PV plants. And it will be also profitable for the power grid companies who are responsible for the dispatching and planning of the PV systems within their operation area.
