China is a large country with a long history. It is reputed as the "Silk Producer", "Porcelain Country", and also famously known for the lacquerware. China has a long history of the making of lacquerware. Ancient China is the earliest and largest country that uses lacquerware as daily ware. In the Han Dynasty, the making and using of lacquerware has reached its peak. As the crystallization of human mind and the product of culture, lacquerware not only represented the culture of a particular time, but also embodied the creators' understanding of the particular culture. The design aesthetics formed on the basis of Han Dynasty culture embodied various category from functional aesthetics to symbolism.
