We studied the influence of one dimensional Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) inversion results of models with three dimensional anomalous bodies. Some preliminary results of large fixed loop data inversion show that when the anomalous body’s horizontal scale is much larger than the scale of the source loop, the inverted conductivities and structures under the receiving points match the real anomalous body very well. With the decrease of the horizontal scale of the anomalous body, the inverted anomalous conductivities may become smaller and the inverted structure may deviate more. When the horizontal scale is obviously smaller than the scale of the source loop, the inverted anomalous conductivities may be too small to distinguish, which may be covered by noise in a real case.
