Put No.3 coal seam and gas conditions in Changping coal mine as research background,through technology theoretical analysis of protection layer mining,numerical simulation,and other methods,through No.8 protection layer mining,the theoretical analysis of if No.3 coal seam is destroyed,the numerical simulation analysis of the Protective effect,which make sure that No.8 coal seam is feasible to be the protection layer of No.3 coal seam.At the same time,it determines corresponding protection range of No.3 coal seam in the condition of mining protecting strata of No.8 coal seam mining,the range of protection is that the eastern boundary of protection layer along tilt direction expands 4.56 m to the outside and the western boundary expands 8.57 m to the outside;the northern and southern boundary of protection layer along strike direction respectively expand 25.0 m to the outside.
