In the coordination development course between wind power and power grid, because of flexible operation ability, the combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) can strength the inherent unit commitment performance such as reserve security and ramp limit with the result of improving the power grid's wind power absorption capacity. Thus, CCGT included wind power system is one way of sustainable development for civil energy and environment. Because the price of gas is much more expensive than that of coal, taking aspects of economy, technique and environment into account, this paper sets up comprehensive risk evaluation for combined cycle gas turbine involved wind power system, which includes index such as system operation cost, environmental benefit, unit capacity utilization rate, heavy ramping rate lasting time, wind power utilization rate, et al. The exact index calculation method is focused on. The case study shows that the large volume of wind power could spoil the trend of system evaluation index and introducing CCGT could enhance the economy and reliability of power system and thus has superior practical value for grid-source coordination with large volume of wind power injection and refined management of generation schedule.
