Study on Rheological Properties of Cement Paste Containing Retarding Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer

We studied the rheological properties of cement paste containing retarding polycarboxylate superplasticizer though a new rheometer test. From the developement of shear stress and plastic viscosity with the shear rate, we can conclude that the retarding waterreducing agent have a good ability to maintain the fluidity of concrete and a good improvement of rheology for cement paste.
