The human society has entered the 21st century, the Chinese society has had the huge and profound change; Deepening the educational reform, implementing the competence education is this time a higher request which is proposed for the higher sports education. With the progress of society, many aspects are changing, so the sports education also faces many new challenges. During the comprehensive advancement of competence education and facing the 21st century' s sports education, the sports educational reform must reflect the characteristic of the time. With comprehensive advancement of competence education, sports educational reform is also deepening continuously. The elementary and middle schools are carrying out the sports and healthy curriculum, the university sports curriculum are continuing to deepen the reform. Trying best to connect the university sports curriculum with elementary and middle schools' sports and the healthy curriculum. As one of the most parts of the comprehensive implementation on the party' s educational policy and the implementation of competence education, sports specialty faces the new opportunity and the challenge. How the sports curriculum should deepen the reform to meet the need of competence education. Facing with this kind of opportunity and the challenge, how does the gym instructor adapt development of the time? This is the question which each gym instructor should reply and ponder.
