Climate Change programs have been high-profile topics since 2007, particularly within the regulated community. Several countries across the world have implemented programs for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to respond to global climate change concerns. These programs include influence on consumer behavior, voluntary emissions reductions, cap-and-trade programs, alternative fuels, carbon sequestration and incentives for efficient energy use. Several legislators in the U.S. have proposed bills for debate in the congress that includes a cap-and-trade program.
