In the past decade, many fishery resource agencies have seen a decline in fishing participation, as evidenced by a decline in license sales. This decline, in part, can be explained by both cultural and economic changes in the United States since the turn of the 20th century. Integrated marketing has been proposed as a viable business option for recruiting and retaining anglers. We propose that using existing business models, reservoir managers can employ their fisheries data to improve customer relationship management.
