The paper proposes a new Chinese character computer keyboard input method (Shape-pronunciation hybrid encoding input method).The novel input method designs the code of Chinese character combining shape and pronunciation feature efficiently.Different from other general shape-encoding methods based on "etymon" of character,our encoding design utilizes the natural structure feature and the first pronunciation letter of Chinese characters.It is very easy to be used by common users.And it has other some excellent characteristics,such as simple encoding design,according with the standards of Chinese character,high inputting ratio etc.The application foreground of this novel method is very bright.
