摘要

Exotic animals are increasingly important in today's society. Because of this reason, in the School ofVeterinary Medicine of Complutense University (UCM), exotic animals have been included in severalcompulsory subjects. The arrival of the Bologna Principles has encouraged interdisciplinary work groups. The UCM hasfacilitated this new reality, enabling the development of Innovative Educational Projects. Thus, authorsof the present paper have constituted a multidisciplinary team of university teachers, in collaborationwith veterinary clinicians working in private institutions, to develop Innovative Educational Projects, most of them involving exotic animals. The team has recently increased with the addition of twoteachers of Las Palmas University.Currently, the group is working to create a web site which will be accessible in English-Spanishversion. Both languages are among the most widely spoken in the world, which will facilitate thedissemination of our results. This project has been funded by the Complutense University (Educational Innovation Project, PIE2011/257).
