Validity of Values of Thermal Stability and Switching Field in Recording Medium Obtained by Using Sharrck √c??s Formula

Previously the thermal stability factor Kb (=KuV/kT, where Ku,V, and kT are the uniaxial anisotropy energy, the switching volume, and the thermal energy, respectively) and the switching field Hcro of recording medium have been obtained experimentally by using Sharrock's formula in many cases [1,2]; Hcr(t)=Hcro{1-[(ln(t)+ln(fo/ln2))/Kb]^C}.
