Dinitrosyl-Iron Complexes with Thiol-Containing Ligands: Spatial and Electronic Structures

Parameters of EPR signals for monomeric dinitrosyl iron complexes with lH-l,2,4-triazole-3-thiol (DNIC-MT), which have been obtained by treating MT and ferrous iron solutions in DMSO with gaseous NO, have been compared with those of the crystalline monomeric DNIC-MT obtained by replacement of thiosulfate ligands in complex Na_2[Fe_2(S_2O_4)2(NO)_4] centre dot 4H_2O with 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-yls.
