The Cause and Countermeasures of BF Blowpipe Wearing Out at Tangsteel of HBIS

Blowpipe bum out at tuyere of blast furnace is a serious accident in iron plant. Tangsteel has kept studying on it for many years. Through application of tuyere camera, whole process of blowpipe burn out was watched and investigated. The critical cause of bum out has been confirmed at same time. The present paper discussed the phenomena of BF blowpipe burn out and raised pertinent counter measures to prevent the accident. The application experience of tuyere camera in blast furnace has been also summarized.
