New process controls on Properzi CCR lines: PIC System application

摘要

This paper describes improvements and innovations in the continuous casting and rolling lines (CCR) for nonferrous rod to apply not exclusively to the machinery design, but also to the overall lines design. One notable improvement to the process is the integration of the PIC System (Properzi Integrated Control) that was developed to supply new process controls with the aim of giving the production management a reliable and valuable support that would suit not only the new lines, but be the best application for modernization of older lines.
