At each broadcasting station, the cooling load tends to increase with the transition to the terrestrial digital broadcasting. From a point of view to reduce global environmental impact, existing equipments more effective to solve the shortage of heat source. We developed a new latent heat storage system which revitalizes the existing water heat storage tanks and makes them much more efficient for the occasion of backfitting. NHK and Taikisha examined how efficiently the latent heat storage system contributes to strengthening heat source at the Mito NHK broadcasting station. We would like to report the plan and the survey results.
