摘要

The purpose of this research study was to investigate experimentally the mechanical behavior of high performance concrete containing rice-husk ash. In addition to the effects of the percentage of RHA and the water-cementitious materials ratio on the properties investigated, the properties of the RHA concrete were also compared with those of cement portland concrete without rice-husk ash. It was concluded that the concrete with highly pozzolanic rice-husk ash also showed excellent performance, better compressive strength than the control concrete, and its resistance to splitting tensile, modulus of rupture and modulus of elasticity was similar to those of control concrete.
