To study characteristic of hydraulic system of which some main elements are made in Vietnam, using for assistance of driving force of tracked vehicle

In Vietnam, there are many tracked vehicles such as: T55, T175 (Russia), Komatsu D65, D85 (Japan), CAT (USA), Volvo (Sweden)... that are using in some fields: Agriculture, Forest Industry, Construction etc. The problem, the driving force on tracked vehicles for Vietnamese drivers is too high even some of them are equipped power steering system. After the long operating time, some main components of power steering system are out of service. Spare parts are necessary. A group of young engineers from Hanoi University of Technology in cooperation with some mechanical factories tries to do the research work in order to produce some main components of a hydraulic power steering system on tracked vehicles for replacing. In this paper, we would like to present some problems: The hydraulic power steering system with main components are made in Vietnam; To study characteristic of the system by software TUTSIM; Some results of the experiment of hydraulic power steering system on testing stand and testing tracked vehicle T55.
