摘要

The coming of information-oriented society has also affected automotive display systems remarkably. The navigation system or the route guidance display may be one of the most typical examples. It may simultaneously display a number of color images as well as a large amount of information in a small area of driver's visual field. In these multi-color display panels, red, green and blue light intensities are deigned based on to relative visual sensitivity characteristics. In this paper, "short-time perception" characteristic was examined using red, green and blue images with the same luminance. The results didn't seem to meet relative visual sensitivity characteristics. We have proposed a hypothesis concerning spatial frequency characteristics of images for each color and verified it experimentally.
