In this study, we propose a new paradigm of evolutionary computations named 'Eco-Evolution" for large scale and complex real problems. This paradigm is aimed to maintain the diversity of a population and to converge each of the global optimum and local optimums in the evolutionary process. The concept of diversity is defined. In order to implement the feature of this diversity, the ideas of the resource supply from the environment, the individual lifetime and the individual resource consumption based on its fitness and the local crossover for clustering individuals in a population are introduced.
