The Monte Carlo simulation of graingrowth with the two dimensional site lattice modelhas been carried out where: the orientations ofindividual grains are described with the threedimensional Euler angle; the characterization ofindividual grain boundaries and the estimation oftheir energy are made with the coincidence sitelattice model; and the effects of the surfaceenergy and the magnetic anisotropy are taken intothe account in a realistic manner. With a magneticor surface spectrum alone, grain growth slows twostages, the second stage being viewed as theabnormal grain growth. If both of them areconsidered, the two-stage growth is suppressed.These results are disscussed with simulatedtexture evolution and experimental results on amagnetic annealing of Fe-50%Co film.
