摘要

By reasonable casting, spheroidizing, inoculating and heat treating processes to control cupola metallurgy and the liquid iron chemical compositions, a new kind of bainite spheroidal graphite(SG) cast iron which can substitute for 20CrMnTi carburizing steel is studied. The gears made by the cast iron are high in quality, low in weight and the production cost is greatly reduced. The mechanical properties of the gear, including wear resistance, fatigue resistance, durability and others, can be greatly improved.
