摘要

Blended learning refers to a strategic and systematic approach to combining times and modes of learning, integrating the best aspects of face-to-face and online interactions for each discipline, using appropriate information and communications technologies. This paper deals with blended learning model application in teaching discipline “Methods of obtaining pure substances”, which refers to a professional module of the program “Chemical Technology of Materials in Modern Power Engineering”. The elements of the blended learning, the strategy for the organization of educational process and the learning activities plan were studied. Technologically the implementation of e-learning component will be realized through Learning Management System Moodle (LMS Moodle). The description of learning activities and chosen organization form of the process were described in details. For each kind of activity the levels of Bloom's taxonomy were defined. The advantages of the blended learning model in teaching laboratory works for students of engineering specialties were demonstrated.
