The insertion of bioethics as a subject at undergraduate and graduate medical and dental schools,based students not only to master the scientific basis and the corresponding heuristic skills to thoseareas, but turn the work in accordance to universal values. Note that subjects related to ethicalconcepts, banished for years at initial and basic education for decades in Mexico, have beenreintegrated into education programs in 2012. However, actual generations at working age asuneducated people, students and even teachers, have no solid ethical concepts, which have directlyinfluenced on the lack of values in the Mexican society, especially in unprotected sectors.The reintegration of ethics in current educational programs in Mexico, including health areas,promotes bioethics with human values, including respect for the life and dignity of patients as realpatients and not as only ways to learn. Also seeks to encourage rational reflection to the problems oflife, both for health and for disease, research as a means to control and cure of diseases, and therelationship with nature and its conservation. In this context, it is intended that both teachers andstudents lacking such concepts may integrate their life and professional practice settings to ethics.The recent inclusion of ethics and bioethics for university education, would aim to start in the student asolid background regarding a correct performance at their own life and that for their patients. Teachersto teach bioethics have been proposed to initiate the process of teaching at the fifth grade of medicineand at the first grade of dentistry undergraduate programs. Thus, this work aims to inform the currentlack of values in Mexico, but at the same time to inform the beginning of the work proposed by thecurrent government, led to retake the importance of moral principles and values.
