Macroeconomics is a theoretical and A subject, for this reason its teaching methodology shouldinclude tools to connect theory and economic reality. Thus, the student interest in the subject would beincreased.This paper describes an innovative teaching experience to enhance student's learning. Thisexperience is being carried out during 2013-2014 year in bilingual Business Administration andManagement Degree and consists in using jointly both real cases analysis and lectures forMacroeconomics classes. Specifically, newsclips has been used for the presentation of real cases.The methodology combines the reading and analysis of news in English during the course. Each pieceof news is presented in audio format at the beginning of each class to introduce the topic to bediscussed during the session;;moreover the piece of news is also provided written. We expect thatthrough this methodology students will be able to realize that theoretical macroeconomic conceptshave application in the business environment and also to become familiar with macroeconomic termsin English. The usefulness of this teaching practice to improve the teaching-learning process is shownthrough the assessment made by student's survey at the end of the course.
