摘要

This paper presents three-dimensional FDTD analysis of wake fields at a curved section in a particle accelerator tube. In the wake field analysis, the FDTD method has been employed and provided us useful results for long time. On the other hand, it was limited to be used in two-dimensional simulations mainly since most of accelerator cavities and tubes are axi-symmetric structures. In this paper, wake fields at a slightly curved accelerator tube as a part of bunch compressor are simulated by using the FDTD method which is formulated on the Cartesian and cylindrical coordinates.
