This paper presents the results of determining the bending strength and modulus of elasticity in static bending of juvenile stem of white cedar (Thuja Occidentalis L.). The study was conducted in the context in which juvenile stem of white cedar can be considered as an alternative wood resource for the furniture industry, in accordance with sustainable development strategies for Romania.
