Studies to evaluate the effects of enrofloxacin on Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Bordetella bronchiseptica infections in swine

Three clinical studies were performed to determine the effects of enrofloxacin (Baytril~R 100, Bayer HealthCare - Animal Health, Shawnee, KS) on Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Bordetella bronchiseptica infections in swine:1. An experimentally induced infection study.2. A natural infection swine respiratory disease (SRD) field study where pigs with clinical signs of SRD were enrolled.3. A natural infection SRD field study where at least 25% of enrolled pigs in each pen had clinical signs of SRD while the remaining pigs in each pen were healthy.
