摘要

The Crystal Ball / TAPS detector setup at the Mainz Mikrotron (MAMI) is used for meson photoproduction experiments with energy-tagged photon beams up to 1.4 GeV. The research program of the Crystal Ball / TAPS experiment covers baryon spectroscopy of N~* and Δ resonances as well as tests of ChPT and isospin breaking effects, using precise measurements of cross sections and polarization observables in π and η production at their respective thresholds. From recent measurements with a transverse polarized target, preliminary experimental results for the target asymmetry T and the double-polarization observable F in both π~0 and η photoproduction are presented and discussed.
